I studied visual communication in Germany with a focus on photography. It was the time just
before digitization in photography began. I have been living and working in Hamburg since
1991. Since participating in the Pentiment Summer 2014, I have devoted myself intensively
to my photographic art. I was also able to further develop my photographic art by
participating in the workshop for the ELBPHILHARMONIE REVISITED IN PICTURES exhibition
and the exhibition of the results in the Deichtorhallen. In 2019 I exhibited my work as a work
show in the pop-up room of the Kreativgesellschaft Hamburg. Professionally, I am at home in
portrait and business photography.
I express that in my work and many of my Fine Art Prints take the path in the direction of
painting. The Saudade series originated in Portugal in the eastern Algarve near Tavira. For
me, the special atmosphere of the typical town of Santa Luzia resonates in the pictures: the
special light of the early evening, the calm and melancholy of the place with its fishing boats.
The image impression was created directly in the photographic process, no digital alienation
took place. A light digital processing completes the workflow.
J'ai étudié la communication visuelle en Allemagne avec une spécialisation en photographie.
C'était peu de temps avant le début de la numérisation en photographie. Je vis et travaille à
Hambourg depuis 1991. Depuis ma participation au Pentiment Summer 2014, je me
consacre intensément à mon art photographique. J'ai également pu développer davantage
mon art photographique en participant à l'atelier pour l'exposition ELBPHILHARMONIE
REVISITED IN PICTURES et l'exposition des résultats dans les Deichtorhallen. En 2019, j'ai
exposé mon travail dans les salles temporaires de la Kreativgesellschaft Hamburg.
Professionnellement, je colorie dans la photographie de portrait et d’entreprise.
In the original sense, photography is painting with light.
Au sens originel, la photographie est peinture avec la lumière. J'exprime cela dans mon travail
et beaucoup de mes photos empruntent le chemin de la peinture. La série Saudade est
originaire du Portugal dans l'est de l'Algarve près de Tavira. Pour moi, l'atmosphère
particulière de la ville typique de Santa Luzia résonne dans les images : la lumière particulière
du début de soirée, le calme et la mélancolie du lieu avec ses bateaux de pêche. L'impression
d'image a été créée directement dans le processus photographique, aucune aliénation
numérique n'a eu lieu. Un traitement numérique léger complète le flux de travail.
